According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the document came into force on 4 February 2016.
The agreement was signed in Brasilia on 28 May 2009 within the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to Brazil.
In accordance with the Agreement, the parties should cooperate in all areas of agriculture, encourage cooperation in the fields of animal husbandry, production of raw materials for biological fuel, dairy, horticulture, food safety, management of agriculture, land management, genetics and biotechnology, etc.
