1. Electronic Visa.

A procedure for issuing an electronic tourist visa is established for the citizens of the following countries:

Note: Go to WWW.E-VISA.GOV.UZ. Select your country, type of passport and the purpose of your visit. Select your planned travel dates to Uzbekistan. Enter your personal details and document information. Upload your photograph. Scan and upload your main passport page. Enter your personal email so you can receive updates. Pay online ($20 USD) using Visa or MasterCard. You can check your application status at the website (e-visa.gov.uz). To receive the e-visa, you should apply at least 3 working days before the planned date of travel to Uzbekistan. If your application is accepted, you will receive your electronic visa via email. Please print it out and keep it with you all the time when visiting Uzbekistan.

Note: А 5-day visa-free transit regime is applicable at the international airports of Uzbekistan. Passengers need to provide an air ticket to the country they are travelling next (the flight must be within 5 days of arrival) and the carrier should inform the border authorities of Uzbekistan on passengers who are eligible for transit visa-free.

4. Visa-Free regime for foreign citizens under the age of 16.

Foreign citizens, who are under 16 are eligible for a visa – free regime. They should provide an international passport or a biometric travel document and have to be accompanied by their legal guardians. They may enter and stay in Uzbekistan for the validity period of the entry visa of the accompanying person, but no longer than 90 days from the date of entry into Uzbekistan. In case if foreign citizen reaches the age of 16 during stay in Uzbekistan, an exit visa is issued by the Main Department of Migration and Registration of Citizenship of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan.

5. For citizens – of countries those are not eligible for e-visa.

 Any type of visa (single or multiple entry) is issued only upon receipt of visa support confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Visa support confirmation is transmitted directly to the Consular Section of the Embassy. For all enquiries please contact the Consular Section of the Embassy.

6. Documents Required for Visa.

  1. One copy of the visa application form (click http://evisa.mfa.uz) completed and signed by the applicant.
  2. One photograph. Attach recent color passport-sized photographs to your application form.
  3. Passport (Passport must have at least one blank page to affix the visa and be valid 90 days more than the period of stay in Uzbekistan).
  4. Passport photocopy.
  5. Fees.

Note: A personal interview with an applicant may be required.

APOSTILLE

Uzbekistan is a party of the 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents Starting from April 15, 2012.

All documents certified by the notary of India and apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, in accordance with the established procedure, are accepted in all State Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

All documents apostilled in India are accepted in Uzbekistan without legalization in the Consular section of the Embassy.
