Uzbekistan’s wrestlers won two gold, two silver and six bronze medals at the Asian Wrestling Championships in New Delhi, India.
Elmurat Tasmuradov became gold medalist, Jasurbek Ortigboyev and Mahmud Bakhshulloyev silver medalists, while Islomjon Bakhromov, Jalgasbay Berdimuratov and Muhammadali Shamsiddinov won bronze medals in Greco-Roman wrestling. 
Ilyas Bekbulatov won a gold up to 70 kilograms weight category in freestyle. Isa Shapiyev was awarded a bronze in his weight category. Dauletbike Yakhshimuratova and Aktenge Keunimjayeva took the third place in the women’s tournament.
