Tashkent to host "International cotton fair and conference 2007" in September

The 3rd International Uzbek Cotton Fair and 4th International Cotton and Textile Conference organized by the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the International Cotton Advisory Committee and Cotton Outlook will be held on September 10-12, 2007 in Tashkent.

The first day of this event is devoted to the International conference about "World cotton and textile market: outlook and vision for 2010". This conference will provide participants with a great opportunity to be acquainted with competent ideas and opinions of the experts from advanced world cotton and textile industry countries.

The second day of the event, during the 3rd International Uzbek Cotton Fair, participants will enjoy an opportunity of establishing close long-term relations and signing contracts with the Uzbek companies on cotton supply of 2007-2008 crops or participating in auctions and purchasing high-quality cotton on Uzbek Commodity Exchange.

The "round table" discussions and bilateral negotiations between the exporters and consumers of the Uzbek cotton are to be held during the Cotton Fair. Moreover, the participants will have an opportunity to be acquainted with up-to-date improvements in production of Uzbek cotton specifying its highest quality as well as with the latest novelties in trade and logistics.
