On the International Investment Forum - 2007

Investment Company Avesta Investment Group in cooperation with NAUR – The National Association of stock exchange market participants is organizing an International Investment Forum - 2007 on May 29, 2007.

Recent years Uzbekistan has experienced a steady economic growth and improvement of financial parameters of economic development, in particular, stability rate of national currency and the state budget surplus. The favorable investment environment for creation of the business relations based on improved legislative base is gradually being formed. Special attractiveness to foreign investors is rendered by the undervalued assets of various sectors of economy.

On the given important event of the year in an economic life of the country, the questions of current importance on the financial environment in Uzbekistan, covering investment opportunities and prospects of investments attraction to stock market and commercial real estate, will be discussed. Within the framework of the forum, companies and participants will be provided with the actual information on mechanisms and methods of attraction of external investments into Uzbekistan, practical experience in this sphere, description of prospects of development of investment in the country and the international tendencies of formation of investment strategy.

The main mission of the forum - guaranteeing meaningful dialogue between the participants of investment market. The primary purposes of the forum:

• To show investors reliable companies and the most attractive projects to finance
• To demonstrate the investors interested in cooperation, their requirements and criteria to the funds attracting companies
• To create a base for development of world experience in investment attraction
• To promote the establishment of business relations among the participants of the investment market
• Exchange of experience between managers of companies from CIS countries in field of financing, capital market analysis, managing the real estate projects, leasing, etc.

Target audience: owners of business, advisers and directors on external investments, financial directors, financial analysts and managers, heads of departments on the investment policy and other respective divisions of medium and large organizations, holdings and groups of companies. The forum will also be interesting for representatives of mutual funds, banks and participants of stock markets, investment, real-estate, development, construction and asset management companies.

• Opportunities for institutional investors at securities market of Uzbekistan – presentations of local participants of stock exchange, the experience of international investment banks and funds in CIS markets

• Financial and banking sector – perspectives of development of banking, insurance, leasing business in Uzbekistan, world experience, opportunities for strategic and financial investors, presentations of the banks
• Basic sectors, “blue chips” – presentations of companies operating in telecommunication, oil and gas, energy, mining, chemical and agricultural sectors
• Real Estate Market of Uzbekistan: management, investments, development – investment opportunities, risks, profitability, structure of supply, latest dynamics and prospects of market development. Insurance of construction risks as a factor of increasing the quality of projects In the framework of the forum, there will be organized the “road-show” along successful companies and prospective real estate in Tashkent in May 30, 2007. The final event will be a sightseeing tour to historical cities Samarkand and Bukhara in May 30 – June 2, 2007.
