Members of the Senate and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis are visiting regions again these days, studying existing problems in places, and carrying on a dialogue with the people.
In particular, the parliamentarians conducted the meetings with the population in the Qamashi district of the Kashkadarya region.
“Visit of the deputies to our houses, sincere conversations about our problems are very effective”, said a resident of the rural citizens gathering of “Toqboy” Sardor Rahmonov. “There is a bridge in our village which needs to be repaired. The Tashkent-Termez motorway also lies near the school № 41 of our village. However, two kilometers of this road on the one side were repaired, but on the other – not. There are no road signs and a pedestrian path where the schoolchildren walk on. Deputies paid attention to this issue and promised to solve it.
During the meetings with the residents of the rural citizens gatherings of “Toqboy”, “Boybo’ri”, “Erdali”, the parliamentarians discussed the issues related to the establishment of preschool education institutions, libraries, school repairs, the construction of sports halls, the establishment of bus routes in the villages, the shortcomings associated with the supply of drinking water, replacing power transmission poles and electricity transformers. Responsible persons were given instructions to solve these problems.
During the trip to the Bekobod district of the Tashkent region, parliamentarians visited to various mahallas, social facilities, including about 600 residential houses where they got acquainted with the living conditions of the people.
“During the study of educational institutions, we assisted in allocating the necessary funds fr om the local budget for paving internal roads on the territory of schools No. 1 and No. 2″, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Shukrat Tursunbayev noted.
The deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Rasul Kusherbayev learned the appeals of five women about the reinstatement in their former work where they had previously been illegally fired. At present, this issue is under consideration in the responsible bodies.
And the proposal of another deputy of the Legislative Chamber – Sergei Samoilov served as the basis for solving the issue of organizing the removal of garbage and household waste from the mahallas “Gulistan”, “Istiqlol” and “Buston” in Zafar town in accordance with the approved schedule.
“While familiarizing ourselves with the work of citizens’ self-government bodies, we found out that some of them do not have their own buildings wh ere they could be accommodated. The problem was solved in a short time with the assistance of the regional hokimiyat (local administration) and other local structures. Thus, a couple of empty buildings were handed over to the citizens’ gatherings “Do’stlik” and “Guliston”, informed a deputy of the Legislative Chamber Muhabbat Tukhtayeva.
Due to active assistance of parliamentarians, the employment issue of two citizens in the regional medical association was resolved.
