The First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Ulugbek Kasimkhojayev received the Tourism Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, the famous designer Ritu Beri. The guest was provided with detailed information about the reforms carried out in recent years in Uzbekistan in tourism.
Ritu Beri noted that development of golf tourism in Uzbekistan could give positive results.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop new projects for promoting Uzbekistan tourism through art, crafts and culture.
The main purpose of the visit of famous Indian designer to Uzbekistan is to participate in Kokand International Festival of Handicrafters and prepare for the upcoming Luxury Simposium in India. In addition to Kokand, Ritu Beri and her family visit Samarkand and Tashkent, where they hold meetings with representatives of culture and art to develop cooperation between the creative people of the two countries.
