Uzbekistan boxers win International Championships

Uzbekistan boxing teams took part in the international tournaments held in Kazakhstan and Russia.
The traditional international tournament among juniors, youth and adults in Russia was attended by masters of leather gloves from Armenia, Poland, Russia and Uzbekistan.
At youth competitions, Fazliddin Erkinboyev in the decisive match beat his opponent, Russia’s Nikita Averin, by the technical knockout and won the gold medal. Nurmuhammad Ismatullayev defeated the representative of the tournament hosts Kirill Kazakov with a score of 5:0 and rose to the highest step of the podium.
Members of Uzbekistan national boxing team won four gold, two silver and three bronze medals at Galib Jafarov Prizes Junior Tournament in Kazakhstan. In their weight categories, Asrorbek Shakhobiddinov, Jakhonmurod Imomaliyev, Lazizbek Fattoyev, Nursatbek Tokhirov rose to the highest step of the podium. Azizbek Tojiyev and Mirzakhmad Mirzabekov were awarded silver medals. Our representatives Kobiljon Abdurakhimov, Azizbek Samadov and Abdullajon Almamadov won bronze medals.
International competitions dedicated to the memory of the winner of the Olympic Games Bekzat Sattarhonov took place in the city of Turkestan. It was attended by more than 150 masters of leather gloves from 10 countries.
Ikromjon Jurayev won a silver medal. Dilshod Abduvaliyev and Abdulla Rajabov became bronze medalists.
