More than 100 young people took part in the entrance examinations for the 10th grade enrollment in 2017/2018 academic year of the Specialized school for in-depth study of information and communication technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy. A video surveillance system was applied in accordance with modern international standards, which made it possible to ensure transparency of the entrance examinations.

Modern technologies have found wide application in the sphere of education and assessment of knowledge and intellectual level of entrants and students.

Young generation of IT specialists are being educated at this school, established in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On organization of a specialized school for in-depth study of information and communication technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy” of September 14, 2017. Students are studying mathematics, physics, computer science and foreign languages, mastering programming skills, creating databases and gaining basic knowledge on ensuring information security. The school’s classrooms and auditoriums are equipped with the most modern equipment, which makes it possible to use advanced information and pedagogical technologies that help to improve quality of the educational process.

An additional admission of students in the 10th grade was conducted on a competitive basis for completing the recruitment of students and selecting the most gifted youth by the specialized school. During the entrance exams, which lasted more than two hours at Inha University in Tashkent, all applicants passed a written examination in physics, mathematics and English. In addition, any person could observe the entrance exams process via official Facebook page of Inha University in Tashkent. As well as, a group of parents was also invited to the examination hall as independent observers. According to the results of the examinations, 14 students, who were better than all who coped with all tasks and scored the highest scores, were accepted to the 10th grade.
