A group of athletes and coaches of the Ministry of Defense was awarded valuable gifts on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan for high performance in sports, the contribution made to improving the prestige of the Armed Forces.
The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports and the National Olympic Committee.
In 2019, members of the sports club of the Ministry of Defense won 800 medals at national and international championships and competitions, of which 265 are the results of international tournaments.
