Uzbekistan pays special attention to improving the productivity of labor, providing citizens with decent working conditions, protecting the employment rights of minors, women, the retirement age and disabled persons.
Employment of citizens, involvement of the population, especially youth and women in business and farming activities are priorities for State policy.
In this sense, the draft law in new edition “On labor protection” was widely discussed during the practical seminar organized by the Navoi regional council of UzLiDeP and its faction in parliament with the participation of the population, professionals, experts and representatives of the party electorate.
At the event, member of UzLiDeP faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Utkir Tursunov noted that adoption this law will increase employer liability and workers ‘ organizations on the implementation of labor protection requirements, defining the functions of special authorized state body and other state administration bodies for ensuring proper control of conditions and labor protection.
-At today’s event, the heads of several organizations expressed their proposals to the draft law, all of them party faction will take into account in finalizing the draft law, -said specialist of regional department of labor and social protection of population F. Boliev. – The draft law provides for the norms establishing the procedure for increasing the responsibility of individuals to ensure labor protection, the order of conducting of state expertise over labor protection, rights and duties of employer and employees. The adoption of this law will ensure the proper organization of labor protection and safety in enterprises that will create conditions for the employer and for the employee to fulfill the requirements on labor protection without further intervention of the bodies of state supervision and control.
At the event, the participants agreed to carry out explanatory work in all districts, cities, business entities and farms.
