As part of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in this structure, the process of preparing for the main events of the SCO will be considered. More than 30 draft documents will be discussed, which are planned to be submitted for approval at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO Member States. The meeting will be held on 15-16 September 2022 in the city of Samarkand.
During the four-day event, the participants will consider the preparations for the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member states, which will be held on 28-29 July in Tashkent.
Documents will be signed on several areas within the framework of the SCO. It was noted that special attention is paid to the development of one of the main prospects of Uzbekistan – the transport and logistics industry.
Views will be exchanged on the implementation of initiatives put forward by the Republic of Uzbekistan at the SCO 2021 Summit and other important issues of the organization’s activities.
The meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the SCO Member States will last until July 27.
