Active inspectors are awarded

Awarding ceremony of winners of the regional stage of “The most exemplary supporting point of internal affairs bodies” competition was held in Samarkand. 

Currently, 527 supporting points of the internal affairs bodies are operating in Samarkand region. Most of these points are located in the same building with neighborhood center, prevention inspectors are working together with citizens’ gathering, inspectors and public commissions, which help to ensure peace and tranquility, prevent various negative incidents in their assigned territory.

– Thanks to special attention of the President of our country, last year, all prevention inspectors of supporting points of the internal affairs bodies of the region were provided with personal cars, purchased on the basis of preferential credits, – says head of the crime prevention department of Samarkand region’s internal affairs bodies, Lieutenant Colonel R.Rakhimov. – Prevention inspectors were also provided with service housing in their assigned territories. This gives positive results in prevention of crime and offences, early detection of unpleasant incidents at places.

Winners were determined in such criteria as, situation in the territory of the police supporting points, interaction of prevention inspectors with citizens’ gatherings and population, knowledge and experience, working with minors.

The supporting point No.446 of the internal affairs bodies in “Uray-Elipok” makhalla of Taylak district took the first place and received the right to participate in the republican stage of the competition.

Winners of “The most active prevention inspector”, “The most active community inspector”, “The most exemplary chairman of the Women’s Committee”, “The most active deputy head of the internal affairs bodies on youth issues”, “The most dedicated head of the sector” nominations were identified and awarded by organizers.
