Amity University’s branch to be opened in Tashkent

Museum of Communication History in Uzbekistan held a press conference devoted to the opening of Amity University’s branch in Tashkent. It provided information about training areas, opportunities and selection criteria for university applicants.
In accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan on establishing Amity University, a branch of Indian University will be opened in Tashkent. The University will train personnel for IT sphere, including software and hardware developers, specialists in artificial intelligence, big data and ICT management.
According to the First Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Umarov, the new university will be located in Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent city. Its building is currently being renovated and reconstructed. In the future, it will be equipped with the latest technology.
Education in this university will be conducted in English.
