On April 5-6, 2016, Beijing hosted a meeting of Permanent Working Group of the SCO Member States on scientific and technical cooperation, reports the press service of Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting the sides consider the prospects of further development of cooperation within the SCO and draft documents to be signed at the upcoming events of the organization. In particular, it was discussed the issues of implementation of the Action Plan of the Programme of Multilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation among the SCO Member States and the preparation of a list of measures for the further development of the project activities within the organization in the years 2017-2021.
The sides exchanged views on the preparations for the Meeting of heads of the Ministries of science and technology of the SCO Member States in Kyrgyzstan.
