The Karakalpak round of the national show contest among advisers of citizens’ self-government bodies for religious enlightenment and spiritual-ethical education has taken place at the Berdakh Karakalpakstan State Musical Theater.
The competition is held as part of the execution efforts of the presidential resolution “On Additional Measures to Support the Activities of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan” signed 25 May 2004. The Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan – Chairperson of the Women’s Committee Z.Ibragimova and other speakers noted that a special emphasis is placed under the leadership of President Islam Karimov to the further perfection of the activities of citizens’ assemblies.
In the socio-economic development of peripheries, in the propaganda of healthy lifestyle, in securing the employment of population and the socio-spiritual stability across the country, a great role is played consultants of citizens’ assemblies of auls and mahallas.
The competition served as a platform for 16 people to display their knowledge and qualification. Kamila Aitimbetova, adviser for religious enlightenment and spiritual-ethical education of the Buzovul mahalla citizens’ assembly in Nukus. She has booked ticket for the national round of the contest.
