Bilateral documents are signed within the framework of the official visit of the President to the United States

An agreement was signed on selection of technologies for generation of electric power on the basis of a combined-cycle plant in the territory of Tashkent Thermal Power Plant, as well as on selection of technology and construction of electric power generation by burning high ash coal in the territory of Tashkent or Surkhandarya regions.

The parties were represented by the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekenergo Ulugbek Mustafayev and Chief Executive Officer & President of General Electric Gas Power Systems Chuck Nugent.
