All clubs of the Republic organize intellectual fames and quizzes – “The best reader”, “The family of book-lovers”, “My first book”, workshops and discussions on the role of books and the reader’s culture in shaping a personality to mark the Holiday of Book in all the regions of the country.
Presented at the on-going exhibition-presentations and book fairs are fiction books and scientific-popular literature, manuals and text books published in our country.
The Online training center of the “Bunyodkor” TV complex hosted the next “Erkin fikr” (Free opinion) talk-show within the framework of this holiday. The youths and girls touched upon such topics as raising the role of books in satisfying spiritual requirements of people, the culture of reading and dissemination the traditions of family reading.
Direct transmissions were organized with regional TV studios – members of the National Association of Electronic Mass Media (NAEMM), which provided an opportunity for holiday participants on the ground to directly communicate with the studio and exchange ideas, while the spectators could watch all this in “live” mode.
The national Holiday of Book has been already successfully conducted over several years. But direct TV transmission with the participation of the faculty and students of higher educational institutions, scholars and specialists in this field, has been held for the first time.
“The prestige of this event keeps growing up with every passing year. And today’s direct transmission carried out by NAEMM TV studios not only enabled to establish contact with our fellow students in the capital city, but also get specialists’ answers to some questions of our interest,” shared her impressions a college student from Qarshi Asila Saidova.
“Despite the accelerated rates of information-communication technologies development, books play an important role in raising the level of people’s spirituality,” noted specialist of the Directorate on publishing and information of the Jizzakh region Abbos Abdukhakimov. “Two book shops commenced their activities in the regional center right during the holiday. The “Erkin fikr” talk-show went off in a very interesting way and demonstrated our youth’s great interest to reading.”
