Bright future

In the Uzbekistan Art Academy’s Ikuo Hirayama international caravanserai of culture, nearly 60 works of art by young artists are being displayed, including those entitled “Kindergarten”, “House of Fashion”, “Dolphinarium”, “Hotel’s interior”, “Abstraction” and “Circle of Colours”.

At the opening of this “Nurli kelajak [bright future]” exhibition arranged by the Uzbekistan Art Academy in cooperation with the Kamoliddin Behzod national artistry and design institute, it was said that the attraction of young people to work being carried out towards the development of the country and the creation of the necessary conditions for them to display their talent were producing practical results.

Experienced teachers give tuition to students of the design department of the national artistry and design institute. This exhibition is the first artistic display of works by people of the department. Nearly 20 students are participating in it.

“Our students create projects and architectural models,” says a senior lecturer of the institute’s design department, Mutazo Roziqberdiyev.

“And so they need to know the secrets of visual arts, to be able to use colours and to have a vivid imagination. If you pay attention to Dilafroz Yusupova’s work entitled `Kindergarten’ you will see that the right colours were chosen, it is beautiful and its style is modern. These kinds of works of art will probably make it possible to implement such new artistic projects in future. Works of art created by our students such as Shahlo Sobirjonova, Diyora Jorayeva, Shariyar Utegenov and Ezoza Sadirova are also worthy of attention,” he says.
