On July 8 this year, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on organizational measures for construction of modern business and residential center “Bukhara City” in the city of Bukhara.
Turkey’s company Studio Vertebra and design companies from countries with a developed construction industry are involved as the general manager of Bukhara City complex with a total area of 83 hectares, based on the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation with Bukhara regional khokimiyat.
Industrial facilities and other non-residential premises that do not meet the requirements of modern architecture, located on the territory of “Bukhara City” center will be rebuilt. In addition, modern hotels, restaurants, theaters, cinemas, offices, banks, business centers, shopping and social facilities, consumer services centers, more than 50 multi-storey residential buildings, about 100 buildings and structures in total, will be erected.
Certain buildings and structures will be demolished on the territory of the proposed major project. At the same time, reliable protection of the legal rights of their owners, citizens and business entities, is guaranteed. There should be no doubt about it. The basis of any progress is transparency and trust between people and the state. Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan provides for full compensation for all business entities whose buildings are to be demolished.
