An annual national exhibition “Artist and nature” has kicked off at the Central exhibition hall of Academy of arts of Uzbekistan.
This exhibition is a kind of summing up by domestic masters, whose work is unthinkable without the trips to the protected picturesque places of native land and work with nature.
The exhibition presents more than 200 works of painting, graphics, sculpture, landscapes, still lifes, genre scenes of recognized masters and very young, but very talented artists.
The very beginning of each inspiration starts from nature. It is a foundation threaded with a pearl of great creative ideas.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, active journalists were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
The exhibition will run until 20 January 2016.
