Doctors of the international organization Vision Care (Republic of Korea) hold a charity event in a multidisciplinary medical center in Bukhara.
In the first two days, foreign doctors conducted an in-depth medical examination of more than 400 patients and performed 53 surgeries on cataract elimination and replacing the eye lens.
In accordance with the Memorandum of understanding signed between the international charity fund “Soglom Avlod Uchun” and the South Korean partner organization, the action will last until March 15. Nearly 800 people in need of social assistance from all districts of the region will undergo an in-depth medical examination using modern equipment. Necessary operations will be provided to more than 100 needy patients.
Patients are provided with necessary medicines free of charge, qualified advice on prevention of eye diseases.
