Competition of Innovative Projects

Awarding ceremony of winners of the republican competition “100 best innovative projects of women of Uzbekistan”, organized by the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, was held at Turkiston Palace.

Constant attention is paid in Uzbekistan to issues of increasing activity, social protection of women, assistance in implementation of their initiatives and ideas.

The Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan is carrying out systematic work on promotion of practical implementation of innovative ideas, women’s projects and developments, stimulation of their activities in the spheres of science, education, various sectors of economy and society.

The competition “100 best innovative projects of women of Uzbekistan” was organized within the framework of this practical work, which was attended by women scientists, doctoral students, talented students, inventors, innovators, engineers, designers, programmers, doctors and entrepreneurs, wishing to realize their technical projects, rationalization proposals, innovative developments.

Visitors had an opportunity to become familiar with contestants’ works and participate in scientific presentations at the exhibition, organized on 6-7 February this year at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. The competition once again demonstrated talents, indefatigability, enterprising and high potential of women of Uzbekistan to the general public. Developments were devoted to medicine, education, business, agriculture and many other spheres.

In evaluating their work, Republican expert Council paid special attention to the novelty, significance, economic, spiritual and educational effect and other aspects of projects. The authors of the best ideas were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan T.Narbaeva.
