In Bukhara, the regional phase of a contest entitled “The Constitution is the foundation of our happiness” has been held among students of lyceums and vocational colleges.
This contest was arranged by the republican centre for secondary special education and vocational training in partnership with relevant establishments on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This contest serves to raise the law awareness and culture of the younger generation and to give them a better idea of the essence and significance of the Constitution and rights and liberties enshrined in the main law.
13 students participated in the contest. Their knowledge about Articles of the Constitution and eloquence were evaluated.
A student of the Bukhara tax college, Otabek Bakhtiyorov, won and obtained the right to participate in the republican phase of the contest.
“At our college, all the necessary conditions have been created for us, young people, to acquire knowledge, to learn modern professions and to train in sports. All these are thanks to provisions of the Constitution. Everyone should know and observe the Constitution,” says the winner of the contest, O.Bakhtiyorov.
