Uzbekistan’s leather and footwear industry is promising for investment. “Made in Uzbekistan” products are in demand in almost 40 countries.
Investments amount to $446 million. Investors are offering joint projects.
At the UzCharmExpo 2022, contracts worth $85 million were signed in three days. Agreements were reached on opening new trading houses abroad and implementing investment projects. A Memorandum was signed on the sale of leather products in the “Latvia – Uzbekistan” Trading House.
“An agreement has been reached between Uzbekistan and German entrepreneurs on the implementation of joint investment projects”, says the department head at Uzcharmsanoat Association Aliyor Latipov. – A project is planned with Indian entrepreneurs.
The opportunities were demonstrated at the exhibition. Cooperation was established.
