Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies hosted a presentation of the monograph “The Poetry of Urdu”, co-authored by Uzbekistan and Indian scholars.
The monograph is the result of a joint research and creative work of associate professor of Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, candidate of philological sciences Mukhayyo Abdurakhmonova and professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University of India Hoja Ikromiddin.
The book is written in Urdu, published by Brown Book Publications, specializing in the preparation of scientific literature. The book covers in detail the process of formation and gradual development of Urdu poetry from the 13th century to the present day.
At the event, it was noted that Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies and the Jawaharlal Nehru University established effective scientific cooperation, and relations between the two countries in science and education are consistently developing.
