On the commemorative plaque at the entrance of “Samsung” plant in Nukus, there is an inscription: “The plant on production of household appliances was erected on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, forwarded during a trip to the Republic of Karakalpakstan on January 21, 2017. The plant produced its first product on October 14, 2017”.
At the plant, built through reconstruction of the former “Nukus Remmash” LLC facilities and construction of additional buildings, four types of television sets and thirteen types of vacuum cleaners are being produced.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new plant.
Today, probably there is no a single family that does not use “Samsung” household appliances. The plant, which employs more than 200 people, is equipped with the latest generation equipment.

Production volumes of home appliances have grown in our country. The demand of the population in it is satisfied. It is time to increase the volume of exports in the sphere, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The Head of our state gave instructions on further expanding the types of products produced at the plant.
A number of major projects have been implemented at the initiative of the President of our country in Karakalpakstan. In particular, “Uzeltehsanoat” JSC implemented 12 projects worth 27,5 billion sums.
The President was presented projects that “Uzeltehsanoat” JSC is planning to implement in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. They are aimed at implementation and maintenance of washing machines with semi-automatic function, electric cabinets and water heaters, heaters and radiators, energy saving lamps, household appliances.
