At the end of the press conference, the correspondent of Jahon I.A. talked to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Uzbekistan Konstantin Jgenti about the upcoming event:

– In my opinion, the strengthening of cultural ties is one of the important directions in the development of cooperation between countries, as it promotes understanding and rapprochement between peoples. In this area we have gained a positive experience, which should be expanded in the future. In particular, we are happy to look at Georgia Uzbek movies and hopefully in the near future will be able to carry out similar “Days of Uzbek cinema” with us.

I would like to stay at the selected pictures to display. We have tried to select eight different genre, time and work styles of famous artists of the Georgian cinema. As a result, I am convinced that every film finds its audience here.

I would also like to emphasize the progressive development of Uzbek-Georgian relations. In addition to expanding cultural ties we have a very effective cooperation in the economic sphere. This is indicated by figures of mutual trade has tripled over the past few years. In my opinion, this is not the lim it and we have very good prospects. And the upcoming cinematic festival will be another step towards the all-round intensification of our cooperation.
