Days of Japanese Culture starts in Nukus

japanese_cultureDays of Japanese culture will be held in Nukus on 11-13 May 2015. The Days will be organized for the second time in capital city of Karakalpakstan.

The events of the Days are organized by Uzbekistan Art Academy, International Caravan-serai of Ikuo Hirayama at the assistance of Tashkent Photography House. The Exhibtion hall of Karakalpakstan branch of Uzbekistan Art Academy will host the Days of Japanese Culture.

The exhibition of traditional Japanese water-colour works “Light dance of brush” opened on 11 May. The exhibition presented over fifty original Japanese works.

The Days of Japanese Culture will also include master classes on Kiri-e and origami, Japanese language and calligraphy, tea ceremony.
