Such works by the writer as “Jamila”, “My Poplar in a red kerchief”, “The first teacher”, “Mother’s field”, “Milky Way”, “Goodbye, Gulsary”, “White Steamboat”, “Spotted Dog Running Along the Seashore” , “The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years”, “The Scaffold” translated into many languages and still enjoy wide popularity.
Resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On wide celebration of the 90th anniversary of the great writer and public figure Chingiz Aitmatov’s birth” is a model of high respect for the memory of the writer.
