In order to expand the geography of employment of citizens of Uzbekistan, protect their rights and interests, as well as prevent illegal migration and human trafficking from November 1 to 10, the delegation of the Ministry of Labour is paying a visit to Russia.

Thus, Krasnoyarsk regional public organization to promote social and legal adaptation of the peoples of Uzbekistan “Commonwealth of Uzbek people” hosted a meeting dedicated to the discussion of the legal and social protection of the citizens of our country, employed in the enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the views exchange on the prospects of cooperation in this direction.

During the event, Vice President of “Commonwealth of Uzbek people” Oleg Kryukov said that their organization is working on the full support of Uzbek citizens, temporarily staying and working in the region.

He emphasized that the visit of the delegation of our country is relevant, when the sides are ready to strengthen cooperation and jointly work out a common strategy for cooperation in the field of labor migration. From now it will be much easier to deal with the existing problematic issues and prevent them in the future.

Following the meeting, it was decided to open training and retraining courses at the Adaptation Center of “Commonwealth of Uzbek people”. These measures will help to timely respond to changes in the labor market, help to increase the number of skilled workers who can apply the experience gained in this or that production sphere. An agreement on the establishment of a hotline to provide assistance to citizens of Uzbekistan in addressing a wide range of issues, not limited with only employment, was signed.

For the purpose of citizens employment of Uzbekistan in the Krasnoyarsk Territory “Protocol of intent to cooperate in the field of labor migration” between the Agency on external labor migration under the Ministry of Labour of Uzbekistan and KRPO “Commonwealth of Uzbek people” was signed. The document will allow to begin work on the conclusion of bilateral agreements, based on which our fellow citizens will be able to seek employment at the enterprises of the region. There will be specified obligations of the parties to implement them, the mechanisms of Pre-departure training, medical examinations, and applications of the Krasnoyarsk administration on available vacancies, based on which groups to be sent in the region will be formed.

A meeting with the leadership of the public organization Russian diaspora “Uzbek local national-cultural autonomy” was also held in the city of Kemerovo. Special attention was paid to the legal and social protection of temporarily residing and working citizens of Uzbekistan.

Chairman of ” Uzbek local national-cultural autonomy” Rustambek Khalberdiev noted that for our fellow citizens it is very important to constantly feel the support of the Government of Uzbekistan.

– In that sense, the visit of the representatives of the Ministry of Labour confirms that the country gives the utmost importance not only to the full protection of its citizens living abroad, but also to ensuring the full and effective employment growth for the benefit of its well-being, – said R.Khalberdiev.

As a result of the event a similar decision on the establishment of the Kemerovo Region hotline to provide assistance to citizens of Uzbekistan in dealing not only with work, but also in other spheres, was made. “Protocol of intent to cooperate in the field of labor migration” was signed between the Agency on external labor migration under the Ministry of Labour of Uzbekistan and “Uzbek local national-cultural autonomy”.
