Delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov on December 21, 2015, took part in the inter-regional meeting “Central Asia – European Union” at the ministerial level, which took place in Astana.
The agenda of the forum included the discussion of prospects of cooperation of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan with the EU in various sectors, implementation of the EU Strategy for Central Asia and proposals of the parties to improve its efficiency.
During the plenary sessions and other formats the sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
