Following the negotiations with representatives of film companies of the UK, Argentina, India, Russia, Spain and other countries at Cannes Film Festival, significant agreements were reached on implementation of joint projects in the sphere.
In particular, memorandums of understanding were signed with Ivo Fiorenza, Head of International Sales and Co-Founder of a London-based company Amadeus Entertainment, on promoting Uzbek films in the world, as well as with Harshad Bhagwat, the Founder and Director of India International Film Tourism Conclave (IIFTC), on development of cinema tourism in Uzbekistan.
Activity of Uzbekistan national pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, organized by the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the Center for Development of Cinematography, continues.
