A delegation of Uzbekistan, which included prosecutors, paid a visit to Vienna to familiarize with judicial-legal system of Austria.
The visit was organized by the EU project “Assisting reforms in judicial-legal system of Uzbekistan”, Jahon news agency reported.
Within the visit, the delegation met with representatives of Vienna Court on criminal affairs, specialized prosecutor’s body on fighting economic crimes and corruptions, criminal prosecutor’s body, Ministry of Interior Affairs of Austria, as well as participated in the events dedicated to activities of Austrian judicial bodies.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views and experiences in the field of criminal justice. The Uzbek delegation informed the Austrian side of ongoing reforms in the country to improve the judicial system in Uzbekistan and briefed them on main provisions of the Concept of further deepening democratic reforms and formation of civil society in the country.
