Delegation of Uzbekistan visits Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan

On 4 July,  the Uzbek delegation visited Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the launch of the first seasonal charter flight of Uzbekistan Airways following Tashkent-Tamchi-Tashkent route.

There was a meeting with the Kyrgyz delegation led by First Deputy Foreign Minister Dinara Kemelova during the visit to Tumchi.

Dinara Kemelova emphasized that “comprehensive development and further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan are one of the key directions of the foreign policy course of the Kyrgyz Republic, which was clearly manifested during all recent meetings at the high and highest levels, including between representatives of border regions in Andijan, Osh, Fergana and Jalal-Abad cities”

As it was underlined, the level of bilateral relations reached to date is the result of a meeting of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on December 24, 2016 in Samarkand, which set the tone for close cooperation and mutual assistance for further prosperity of the two neighboring states and peoples.

The delegation of Uzbekistan also held talks with the Senior Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Amangeldy Davletov and the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Zhamankulov, during which specific directions for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
