International Caravanserai of Culture named after Ikuo Hirayama of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan hosted an exhibition “Uzbek dolls”.
At the opening of event it was noted that the comprehensive education of young generation, raising their spirituality based on noble ideas are one of priorities of state policy.
As President Islam Karimov noted the child’s development, his future path, choice of profession, spiritual and moral foundations of his life, of course, are determined by toys with which he played in childhood. National dolls contribute to achieving such noble goal, as education of children as worthy successors of our great ancestors.
According to experts, the toy is not only to calm the child, but also to contribute to his physical and spiritual development, formation of thought. That’s why appearance of toys, environmental friendliness of materials which they are made from, as well as spiritual aspects are important.
Our country pays great attention to production of dolls, corresponding to our traditions and customs, which reflect the best qualities of national heroes, creation of conditions for work of master puppeteers. In order to stimulate the labor of artisans and artists, demonstration of their works a wide variety of exhibitions are conducted.
At current exhibition are presented more than forty national dolls of craftswomen Dilfuza Esonalieva. Dolls “Oriental Women,” “Girl with a Jug”, “Bride and Groom”, “Girl from Bukhara”, “Girl-musician”, “Girl-laparchi” these are, above all, quality toys that promote education of children in spirit of respect to national traditions and values.
D.Esonalieva pays great attention to national aspects of display in every detail doll – costume jewelery. For costumes, it makes extensive use of national fabrics – atlas, adras, bekasam, olacha, brocade, satin.
