On May 30, delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Khorezm region.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Aripov and Khokim of Khorezm region F.Ermanov met the distinguished guest at Urgench International Airport.
The head of the Russian government will attend the first meeting of Uzbekistan – Russia joint commission at the level of heads of governments, in Urgench.
This event is a new form of bilateral cooperation, at which the heads of governments of the two countries will sum up the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation held on April 24 and discuss promising areas for further development of trade-economic relations, filling them with concrete practical content.
Following the meeting, it is planned to sign a number of documents.
