In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 5, 2015 №DP-2343 “On the Program of measures to reduce energy consumption, implement energy-saving technologies in the fields of economy and social sphere for 2015-2019” on September 11, 2015 Tashkent to host the scientific practical conference “Energy conservation, energy efficiency and development of renewable energy sources in the Republic of Uzbekistan”. Its main purpose is to discuss the current issues of energy efficiency, energy conservation and the further development and implementation of renewable energy sources in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of globalization and modern challenges.
The organizers are the Committee for Coordination of Science and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Economy, Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.
The main objectives of the conference, as stated on the website www.uzscience.uz, are:
- problems of energy efficiency, energy savings (in the economy);• prospects of use and legal foundation for renewable energy sources;• research and development of young scientists in the field of energy, including renewable energy.• personnel policy and training in the field of energy saving technologies and renewable energy sources.
Conference proceedings will be published in a special issue in three journals: “Problems of energy and resources”, “Solar technology”, “Uzbek Journal of Physics”.
