The awarding ceremony of the winners of annual republican contest “Eng ulug’, eng aziz” (The greatest, the dearest) devoted to the 23st anniversary of the state independence of Uzbekistan, was held at the National Press Center of Uzbekistan.
The contest was organized by the Press and Information Agency, Journalists’ Creative Union, Tasviriy Oyina association, Arts Academy, Public Fund for Supporting Independent Press and News Agencies, National Electronic Media Association, Writers Union, Uzbekkino national agency and the National TV and Radio Company.
The senators, deputies, representatives of various ministries and departments, creative, and social organizations were invited to the event.
Chairman of the Creative Union of Journalists I. Khalimbekov, Chairman of the Writers Union M. Ahmedov, Chairman of the Tasviriy Oyina association I. Latipov, Director of the National News Agency of Uzbekistan M. Khazratkulov and others noted that there are enormous opportunities in our country for free and fruitful work of artists, full manifestations of their abilities and talents.
The winners of the republican contest “Eng ulug’, eng aziz” were presented with certificates and memorable gifts.
