During the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on April 4-5, 2017 to the Russian Federation, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. According to this document, cooperation is planned in the field of execution of the state budget revenues, management of funds on a single treasury settlement account, state financial control and audit, and automation of the budget execution process.
According to mutual agreement, a delegation of heads of leading departments of the Federal Treasury of the Russian Federation arrived in Tashkent on April 23 this year.
In this regard, meetings of working groups took place within the framework of interministerial relations.
Exchange of experience between Uzbekistan and Russia is important for development along with other areas and financial sector, in particular, in improving implementation of the revenue side of the budget, managing funds on a single treasury account, state financial control and audit, and automating the process of budget execution.
In February this year, the delegation of Uzbekistan visited the Russian Federation. Within the framework of cooperation, draft documents on introducing amendments to a number of normative acts were developed.
Guests visited Samarkand and Bukhara regions.
