As mentioned earlier, today at the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan it was held an exhibition of artists and photographers of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), devoted to the 22 anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and China.
It is attended by prominent figures of culture and arts of the two countries, representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as journalists. The exhibition continues till 7th of November.
The event was organized by the Council of Friendship Societies cultural and educational relations of Uzbekistan with foreign countries, Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbek Academy of Arts, with the assistance of “Uzbekenergo”, JV “Elektron hisoblagich”, China National Academy of Painting and Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan.
The exhibition is a joint project “Creation along the Silk Road: the study of Uzbekistan”of the Council of friendship societies and cultural-educational relations of Uzbekistan with foreign countries and the China National Academy of Painting.
The peoples of Uzbekistan and China for centuries linked multilateral relations of friendship and mutual respect, history stores the unique interpenetration of cultures originating from the times of the Great Silk Road.
The origins of the close links between our cultures continue to contribute to the further rapprochement of our peoples, creating fruitful ground for the formation and development of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
The famous Chinese artist Lu Rui said: “Chinese painting is a special part of the art world, passing through the so-called “free style Chinese painting”, using special drawing materials – brush and ink to create different shapes of animals, birds, landscapes, it expresses the inner world of the artist, which is an integral part of Chinese traditional culture”.
