The International caravanserai of culture named after Ikuo Hirayama hosted the opening ceremony of the contest-exhibition of students of the Republican specialized boarding school of arts. The theme of the contest was “Senior are always in high esteem”.
World peculiar children, their attitude towards this world, dreams and desires have no limits. Especially the world of children aged 7 to 10 years is very interesting. Because the vision and the talent determines their future. Therefore, a contest-exhibition was organized in order to encourage the creative work of children.
The contest presented creative works of pupils of 1-4 in areas of painting, drawing and sculpting.
The best works were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts of the International caravanserai of culture.
The republican specialized boarding school of arts is one of the oldest educational institutions of the Republic. It was established over 80 years ago. Called at the dawn of its formation as a “Children’s home № 20”, it had been transforming, gaining experience, traditions and improving. In the forties of the XX century, the orphanage was renamed to the orphanage for gifted children.
At the turn of the 50s of the last century, specialized music and art school was organized on the basis of the orphanage.
In 1997, with the organization of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan the institution was transferred under its authority. A new page in the history of the school opens fr om this point, wh ere a huge work to promote children’s creativity in all its forms, not just in the country but also far beyond its borders is being conducted along with professional education of fine arts and music.
The school has produced many artists, as folk artists Galia Ismailova, Gulnora Maveeva, National Artist of Uzbekistan Ruzi Choriev Anatoly Jhiboedov and others.
The leadership of the school, in order to exchange experiences organized trips to the United States, Italy, China, Portugal, Norway, India, Russia.
