On March 23-25, the National Library of Uzbekistan jointly with the Committee for Coordination of Science and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Higher Attestation Commission, the Agency for Intellectual Property is organizing the National Scientific educational forum.

It is noted that the purpose of the event is to increase the quality of research and publication activity in Uzbekistan via familiarizing participants of the forum with international sources of scientific and educational information and the ability to publish in top journals.

The event will invite representatives of leading companies in the world as Thomson Reuters, EBSCO information services, ProQuest, Wiley, Emerald, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, eIFL.

In the course if the forum the 8th annual event “Technology development and usage of scientific and educational information in the network of electronic libraries” including seminars and presentations on this topic will be also taken place.

The event participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences on such topics as access to scientific-educational information and library resources of foreign sources, improving the efficiency and quality of scientific publications and doctoral theses.
