Export of fruits and vegetables in Uzbekistan amounted to $62.3 million

According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, export of fruits and vegetables in Uzbekistan amounted to $62.3 million in January-February 2018, or increased by 36.8 percent over the same period last year. Of the total volume of fruits and vegetables the share of fruits and berries amounts 23.4 percent (increased by 13.5 percent compared to the same period last year), vegetables – 51.4 percent (by 42.0%), grapes – 20.4 percent (by 37.8%).

The main foreign trade partners are Kazakhstan (out of 36.0%), Afghanistan (14.8%), Russia (9.2%), Turkey (5.8%), China (4.4%), India (3.8%), Kyrgyzstan (3.0%), Iran (2.8%), UAE (2.8%), Vietnam (2.5%), Ukraine (2.0%), Pakistan (1.9%) and Belarus (1.8%).
