Tashkent, Samarqand and Bukhara will host October13-22 the Festival of Korean Culture 2016.
The festival program includes a fashion show of the Korean traditional dress Hanbok, the Junior Taekwondo Championship to the Cup of Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, and the Korean music concert in the fusion style. The Tashkent residents could enjoy the performance of the Sookmyung Gayageum Orchestra.
The festival of Korean cinema will be held as well. The program includes the films ‘Ode to My Father’, ‘Detective K’, ‘Himalaya’ and ‘Catch Me.’ Within the festival will also be performed the musical play about the life of famous artist Lee Joong Seop. Thereafter, the Korea Festival will travel to other cities of the country that will host the performances of music and dance groups, the Korean traditional games, and a drawing contest.
