Festivities on the occasion of Navruz cancelled

As previously reported, on Sunday morning, the laboratory of the Institute of Virology detected the coronavirus COVID-19 in Uzbekistan citizen.
In order to take control over the situation and strengthen measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov held an emergency meeting. 
At the briefing, journalists were informed that festivities on the occasion of Navruz will not be held in Uzbekistan. Mass events are also temporarily cancelled.
