FIDE President played chess with an Uzbek student

President of the World Chess Federation (FIDE) Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived in Uzbekistan and visited Inha University in Tashkent (IUT), where he met with Uzbek students and played several blitz parties with them. The meeting was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan.

In his speech, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov told how the performance of children from Kalmykia increased due to the regular chess game. Speaking about the opening of the chess faculty in IUT, the FIDE President stated that if an appropriate decision is made, he is ready to help with books and in organization of master classes.

Within the framework of his visit, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov played blitz games with the rector of Inha University in Tashkent Sarvar Babakhodjayev and IUT student Saidrasul Usmonkhodjayev.

Following the visit, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov wrote down his wishes in the Book of Honored Guests of Inha University in Tashkent.
