An expanded session of the Committee of the Legislative Chamber on labor and social issues considered a draft Program on the employment of population submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Taking part in the forum were representatives of the ministries and departments, non-government non-commercial organizations and mass media.
The draft Program on employment for 2017 provides for securing permanent jobs for 390 thousand people, and 200 thousand temporary and seasonal jobs in the rural economy and civil engineering sectors; 309 thousand jobs – through the development of private household and family farms, craftsmanship and family entrepreneurship.
The parliamentarians noted that the document takes into consideration the results of deep analysis of the demand in the labor market, existing opportunities on the ground and in the sectors, as well as proposals advanced on the results of the deputies’ monitoring and analytical activities.
The draft program envisages the implementation of concrete measures aimed at meeting its parameters. Organization of labor platforms at job fairs and attracting specialists from the “Single Window” centers will secure their efficient contribution to guaranteed provision of the population with jobs.
The forum participants also discussed the problems of reinforcing a mechanism for setting up and monitoring the creation of workplaces outlined in the Program, and presented their recommendations for its realization.
