As previously reported, in Uzbekistan was the delegation of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA). During its stay in our country the head of the Turkish delegation, the head of TIKA Serdar Cham gave an interview to the Information Agency “Jahon”.

– First of all, I want to express gratitude to the government of Uzbekistan for many years of fruitful cooperation, – marked the source. – We are honored to work in your country because brotherhood connects our nations together. It occupies an important place in the activities of the Agency.

As known, this year Uzbekistan celebrates the 25th anniversary of its independence. We are proud of the fact that in such an important period work fruitful, carry out joint projects aimed at further improving the welfare of the population and strengthening their health. So, with the support of TIKA office, the Association of Business Women of Uzbekistan «Tadbirkor Ayol» was built in Tashkent at the same time Training simulation center opened in the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, ten mobile clinics as humanitarian aid we presented to the International Charitable Foundation «Soglom Avlod Uchun». I believe that the successful implementation of these projects will make an important contribution to the further expansion and deepening of Turkish-Uzbek relations, enriching them with new contents.

TIKA office in Tashkent and the head office of the Agency in Ankara, always treat with deference to the projects implemented in Uzbekistan. We intend to develop and implement new programs in your country. A number of proposals are currently in the stage of development. In particular, in the framework of the international conference «Development of cooperation in the Aral Sea basin region on the mitigation of environmental catastrophes» held in Urgench in October 2014, Turkey expressed its readiness to support the implementation of the new proposals in the field of ecology. We are not limited by this and we intend to implement the new programs in the areas of health, culture, arts, including the restoration of historical monuments.
