Hero of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov lived in this house

In connection with the Day of Memory and Honor, a memorial plaque has been installed on the facade of the house where the great representative of Uzbek literature, the author of the national anthem, the Hero of Uzbekistan, the national poet Abdulla Aripov lived, in the city of Karshi.

Poet loved his native oasis, where he was born and raised, his simple and good-natured people, loudly sang about them in his poems, and people of Kashkadarya appreciate and respect the beloved poet. Therefore, the work done to perpetuate the memory of the writer, immensely pleases the residents of the region.

It should be noted that this year, at the initiative of the Head of the state, a specialized boarding school with in-depth study of Uzbek language and literature named after Abdulla Aripov has been opened in the center of Karshi city. A monument to the poet has been erected on the avenue organized on the territory of the school. In addition, a library is also organized on the basis of the school, in which all the poet’s works are collected, as well as a museum dedicated to the life and work of A.Aripov.
